Had to mount the vertical stabilizer to connect the rudder cables and check for clearance.
To make sure the stabilizer was where it should be, I through drillled the upper and lower stabilizer brackets. Tried to drill throught the upper bracket using a 12" bit from below, but the bit was a couple of inches too short. I'll make a coupling to extend the drill shank a little.
Through drilled the large angled hole for the tail skid.
Connected the rudder cables and they were touching the bottom of the 1/2" slot. I'll need to add about 1/4" to the bottom of the slot and see how that works.
